This is a scaled down version of the Viking 5 with a smaller 6" coil. The Viking V1 is an affordable detector that is both comfortable and easy to use. This non motion machine is ideal to get children started in the hobby. The Viking 1, complete with the new VIking design is aimed at the smaller detectorist up to around 10 years old; this is not a toy though. Using the same electronics as the larger Viking 5 model but fitted with smaller coil. The Viking V1 fits nicely into smaller hands thanks to its short handle and will find the treasure the youngsters are dreaming of.

Vikings opinion
Utilising the same circuit as the Viking 5, the Viking 1 is a particularly suitable choice for children. Its shorter length shaft and smaller search head make it light and easy to handle, and with the same simple controls as the Viking 5 it is as effective and easy to use as its larger brother.

Optional Extras

	Carry Bag- A carrying bag will help with much more than just carrying your detector. Stop it from getting scratched, or dirty and help to keep the value of the detector. There’s nothing worse than trading in an old machine for less than you would like because of a silly scratch or mark.
