The Hawkeye is the latest edition to the laser range. Based on a simplified Cortes, the Hawkeye has a digital target identification meter, full range of discrimination, depth reading and threshold control for the pinpoint mode. The Hawkeye is fitted with a 9” x 8” web coil and comes with alkaline batteries.

The Hawkeye is a Target Identification Detector or T.I.D. The Hawkeye is designed as an easy to use, turn on and go detector. The faceplate has only four controls: Sensitivity, Discriminate, Threshold and a mode switch. It uses the same circuitry as the Cortes, so you can expect the same depth and sensitivity from the Hawkeye that the Cortes is well known for. The Hawkeye is an easy to operate detector and is one of those detectors that would suit a beginner to the hobby, but will also be appreciated by the old hands.

Optional Extras

	Carry Bag- A carrying bag will help with much more than just carrying your detector. Stop it from getting scratched, or dirty and help to keep the value of the detector. There’s nothing worse than trading in an old machine for less than you would like because of a silly scratch or mark.
	Mini Shovel- Lightweight mild steel and fibre glass combination. This is an ideal utility trowel to have when detecting. The Mini Shovel has a wide blade which offers much more versatility and ease of use than the smaller trowel blades traditionally used by detectorists.
	Handbook- The Handbook for detectorists is a treasure chest of information about metal detectors, techniques, sites, finds and well kept secrets. Gert Gesink the Dutch author spent 3 years putting all of his knowledge as detectorist, metal detector distributor and writer together in one book. The stats for this book speak for themselves.
	Coil Cover- Coil covers are to protect the coil in operation and should remain on the coil during use. It is a good idea to use a coil cover on any metal detector as the wear and tear of using a detector can cause damage to the bottom of the coil. This coil cover will protect the bottom of the coil from scratches and marks which may reduce the second hand value of the detector.
