The Scanmag Magnet is a powerful, nickel coated  permanent magnet that concentrates its magnetic power at the centre of its foot. This is how it is able to lift great weights of up to 25 kg without the full contact required by some other magnets. The Scanmag comes with 15 meters of rope which can be attatched to the magnet in order to retrieve lost metallic objects.
