The Prizm 5 has eight different tones to indicate the display categories. For example, iron would give the lowest tone while gold and silver at the other end of the scale give higher tones. The smart notch system will let you choose what to ignore based on your discrimination setting. The adjustable sensitivity maximises the detection depth in varying ground.

Exclusive! Smart Notch. You choose.... detect or ignore them. Just push a pad and nails, foil and tabs are in or out. The 'Smart' system notches each zone based on your discrimination setting.

VCO Pinpointing (Voltage Controlled Oscillator)

VCO produces a progressively higher pitch tone as the target signal becomes progressively stronger during pinpointing. As the loop is 'X'ed over the target in the pinpointing mode, pressing Multi Tone turns on VCO. VCO allows the tone during pinpointing to increase with target intensity. Highest tone indicates target centre and best depth reading accuracy.

Multi-Tone (Tone Identification)

Eight different tones indicate the display categories, from iron at the lowest tone to Gold, Silver and other good targets at the highest tone. This Multi tone feature makes the operator immediately aware of the likely category of the metal item without looking at the display.
