This booklet has been written by experienced collectors chiefly for the benefit of those wishing to learn about the various pieces of harness decoration which can be collected today. It is a simple, straight forward guide to the many types of brass decoration, particularly the horse brass itself. Put together by members of the National horse brass society, it explains to the beginner what to look for when starting out to collect brasses and how the pieces were originally worn on the horse harness.
