Robert C Brockett has been metal detecting for well over twenty-five years, and has trained hundreds of White's metal detector dealers, whom he recruited while running the R.C Brockett co. one of the most successful factory dealerships in the country. Bob realised early on the value of research in determining how discrimination really works.
For most of these past twenty-five years he has diligently researched how individual items relate to each other, as viewed by a metal detector. Naturally, Bob has used White's machines in his research, but the information contained in this book will not change, no matter what metal detector is being used. It is, after all, the relationship of these items to each other which we are trying to determine.
Bob retired several years ago and has been spending untold hours relating his research to the current detectors. Whether your unit is digital, analogue, or simply goes "beep" you can rely on the information within. It is guaranteed to enlighten you and will certainly increase your finds.
An old fisherman once told me, "son, if you are going to go fishing, you need to think like a fish". Well, the old fellow was right on target, even if it did take me a while to understand what he was trying to say. I suppose if you were to ask an old treasure hunter how to succeed, you might hear something like, "well, you just have to think like a metal detector". This book will tell us how to do that.
